Hi,
Included with these is a unit that seems to have only one source (Book about the Nung troops). This is the 67th BVN below is what the book provided but the Battalion not being listed with other sources leads me to conclude it did not actually exist. Note there was no 60th BVN or 69th BVN so a gap in the numbering is not unusual with the Vietnamese National Army.

61st BVN:
4/1/52, Cochin China, Battalion formed at Duc Hoa. AO = Ben Tre.
4/10/52, replaced the 31 BMTS in Operations near Sector Duc Hoa.
Later part of 6 Division Vietnamese Sector
10/16/54, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed I/15 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, I/15 IR, later renamed I/37 IR of ARVN 13 Division.

62nd BVN:
9/30/52, Cochin China, CEFEO Battalion 1BM/11 RIC disbanded.
10/1/52, Cochin China, Battalion formed at Hoc Mon from transferred 1BM/11 RIC. AO = Sector Cholon & My Tho. To be part of 6 Division Vietnamese Sector
July 1954, stationed at Hoc Mon.
10/16/54, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed II/15 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, II/15 IR, later renamed II/37 IR of ARVN 13 Division.

63rd BVN:
9/30/52, Cochin China, Battalion 2BM/11 RIC disbanded by CEFEO.
10/1/52, Cochin China, formed at Cu Chi from transferred 2BM/11 RIC. AO = Cu Chi.
12/27/52, Battalion replaced the I/13 DBLE at Trang Bang
Later part of 6 Division Vietnamese Sector, AO = Cu Chi.
2/25/53 to 3/30/53, Cochinchina, Operation JURA near Baria East RC 15 with BM/11 RIC, BM/43 RIC, Ona Binh Xuyen Battalion, 66 BVN, 63 BVN, 8 BPC, III/5 RC, 10 RAC, 1 & 2 Battery of VNA artillery, DNA Z against 300 Battalion VNPA.
10/16/54, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed III/15 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, III/15 IR, later renamed III/37 IR of ARVN 13 Division.

64th BVN:
9/30/52, Cochin China, CEFEO Battalion 1BM/22 RIC disbanded.
10/1/52, Cochin China, 1BM/22 RIC transferred to AVN as 64 BVN, AO = Bien Hoa.
1954, AO = Bien Hoa.
11/1/54, South Vietnam, formed I/12 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, I/12 IR renamed I/38 IR of ARVN 13 Division.

65th BVN:
10/31/52, Cochin China, Battalion 2BM/22 RIC disbanded by CEFEO.

11/1/54, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed II/12 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, II/12 IR later renamed II/38 IR of ARVN 13 Division.

2/25/53 to 3/30/53, Cochinchina, Operation JURA near Baria East RC 15 with BM/11 RIC, BM/43 RIC, Ona Binh Xuyen Battalion, 66 BVN, 63 BVN, 8 BPC, III/5 RC, 10 RAC, 1 & 2 Battery of VNA artillery, DNA Z against 300 Battalion VNPA.
11/1/54, MR 1, Battalion renamed II/12 Infantry Regiment.
8/1/55, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed III/101 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, III/101 IR renamed III/32 IR of ARVN 11 Division.

67 BVN (Nung),
9/54, Tonkin, Battalion began forming from Nung Military units at Haiphong.
9/1/54, Moved from Haiphong to Cam Ranh & on to Song Mao in Binh Thun Province
9/20/54, Annam, HQ Company assigned to Battalion.
12/16/54, Annam, near Ba Ngoi in Khanh Hoa Province south of Nha Trang part of the AVN Group Nung with the 32 BVN, 71 BVN, 72 BVN, & 75 BVN which were Nung Battalions from Tonkin.
2/1/55, Group Nung Renamed 6 Division of the new ARVN.
No AVN 67 BVN formed. Have not found Official record that this Battalion was formed.


68th BVN:
11/30/52, Cochin China, IV/13 DBLE disbanded by CEFEO.
12/1/52, Cochin China, Battalion formed, AO =Trang Bang.
1/31/53, Battalion transferred from the CEFEO to the AVN.
2/1/53, Cochin China, IV/13 DBLE transferred to AVN as 68 BVN.
11/1/54, South Vietnam, Battalion renamed III/12 Infantry Regiment.
1/1/55, South Vietnam, III/12 IR renamed III/38 IR of ARVN 13 Division.
